When September comes, it means the new semester begins. Many freshmen come to the campus and the first thing they do is to get the military training. Some people question about the military, they think it is unnecessary because students don’t have to be the soldiers. While in my opinion, military training is in need.

Military training can cultivate students with strong will. Most students live with their parents before they come to school and with the parents’ protection, they don’t have much life experience. Military training is hard and during the training, students can stand the hard time, so they can get used to the life coming to them.

军训能够培养学生们坚强的意志。大部分学生在来到学校前都是和父母住在一起,受到父母的保护,他们没有太多的生活经验。军训是苦的,在这期间,学生能够忍受艰难的时光,因此他们能适应即将到来的校园生活

The military training can teach the students to obey the rules. It is known to all that soldiers’ duty is to obey the order, so students will have the sense of obeying the rules. When they come to study, they know what they should do and what they should refuse.

Physical fitness is today's hot topic. And everywhere you turn you hear something new. But is it all true?

The more you sweat, the more fat you burn .

This myth has encouraged people to work out in extreme heat or wear layers of clothes or rubber or plastic weight-loss suits in the hope of sweating fat off. Unfortunately, it's water they're losing, not fat.

Fat burns when it is used as a fuel source for exercise, which doesn't happen initially. When you first begin to exercise, you burn carbohydrates or sugars. It takes about 20 minutes of easy to moderate aerobic activity before the transition from burning sugars to fat begins. (Aerobic exercise is any rhythmic and continuous activity that uses oxygen and large muscle masses of the body, such as the arms and legs. Examples are bicycle riding, jumping rope, walking, jogging, aerobic dance, and swimming.) So, to burn the flab, plan on working out at least 40 minutes.

If you stop working out, your muscles will turn to fat.

If you decrease your activity and continue to eat the same or more, you may gain back that spare tire that you worked so hard to lose. It's not, however, because your muscles turned to fat. M
