1. Greetings:

2. Warming up

T: How are you today?

Teacher throws the eraser on the book..

T: It’s on the book. (Take out the book and the eraser from the drawer.)

(Doing the action to show them what is “on”. Ask the students to follow me.)

I will use eraser and book to show them another preposition. “under”. Put the eraser under the book.

板书: 在eraser 后面画斜线后写pencil.

并写:It’s on the table.

T: What’s this in English? (Show a plant picture)

Ss & T: It’s a plant.

T: Where is the plant? (Put the plant under the table)

Ss: It’s under the table.

T: What’s this in English? (Show a chair)

Ss & T: It’s a chair.

T: What’s this in English? (Show a backpack picture)

Ss & T: It’s a backpack.

T: What’s this in English? (Show a baseball)

Ss & T: It’s a baseball.
