There are chiefly three reasons for it. To begin with, maybe it’s typical of you to be too shy to get along with your classmates. Furthermore, the time you spend with your classmates is too short. Apart from the above reasons, your classmates are not familiar with you.
On a personal note, I hold the point of view that you should first firmly believe that smile is integral to communication.
