一、is的用法
第三人称单数+is，如he(男)+is；she(女)+is；it(不是人)+is。
例句：
She is very virulent about her former employer.
她对她过去的老板恨之入骨.
二、am的用法
第一人称I+am。I am还可缩写成I'm。但是am与not不能缩写。
例句：
With respect to your other proposals, I am not yet able to tell you our decision.
谈到你的'其他建议, 我现在还无法把我们的决定告诉你.
三、are的用法
复数名词+are 如第二人称you+are；一人称复数we+are；三人称复数they+are。
例句：
We are taught to construe these terms in a particular way.
我们被教导要以特定的方式理解这些词语。
四、用法口诀
我用am，你用are，is连着他，她，它；
单数名词用is，复数名词全用are。
变疑问，往前提，句末问号莫丢弃。
变否定，更容易，be后not莫忘记。
疑问否定任你变，句首Am,Is,Are大写莫迟疑。
